Meals

Nutritious Meals and Healthy Living At Springfield Schools, we believe that proper nutrition is essential for learners’ growth, health, concentration, and academic success. We provide our learners with nutritious, balanced meals every school day to keep them healthy, active, and ready to learn. Our daily meals include a variety of locally available foods such as rice, posho, vegetables, beans, peas, and groundnuts, carefully selected to provide essential nutrients for growing children. We also provide fruits to supplement their diet with vitamins and minerals that support healthy growth and development. We understand that good nutrition goes hand in hand with proper hydration. Therefore, all our learners have access to free, safe drinking water at school throughout the day. At Springfield, we are committed to promoting healthy eating habits and creating a caring school environment where every learner’s well-being matters. Through nutritious meals and access to clean drinking water, we support our learners to grow, thrive, and achieve their full potential.

School Transport

School Transport Services At Springfield Schools, we provide school van services to transport learners safely and conveniently between school and their homes in nearby communities. Our transport service offers parents a reliable alternative for getting their children to and from school, especially those with busy work schedules or other daily commitments. Transport charges are determined by the distance between the learner’s home and the school, ensuring that fees reflect the route covered. Our school vans help reduce the daily transportation burden on parents while making school attendance more convenient for learners. Parents interested in our transport services are encouraged to contact the school administration for route availability, arrangements, and applicable charges.

Day & Boarding

Day and Boarding Programmes Springfield Schools offers both day and boarding programmes to meet the diverse needs of our learners and families. Our boarding section provides a convenient and supportive home-away-from-home environment, especially for learners who travel long distances to school. Boarding facilities are open to interested parents with children from Primary One, providing learners with an opportunity to develop independence, discipline, responsibility, and social skills. We also welcome day scholars who prefer to commute from home daily. To support effective preparation, adequate study time, and academic success during the candidate year, all Primary Seven learners are required to enroll in the boarding section.

Sports & Recreation

Sports, Recreation and Educational Trips At Springfield Schools, we believe that sports and recreation are essential for learners’ physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and social development. We provide daily physical education lessons and organize weekly swimming lessons at a safe public swimming pool, helping learners develop confidence and essential swimming skills. Our school also holds annual Sports Days, where learners from different houses compete in various sporting activities, promoting teamwork, healthy competition, leadership, and school spirit. In addition to sports, we organize academic tours and educational trips outside the school to expose learners to new environments, practical experiences, and real-world learning opportunities. These activities make learning enjoyable while nurturing well-rounded, confident, and active learners.

Computer Lab

Computer Laboratory and ICT Training At Springfield Schools, we believe that computer literacy is an essential skill for success in today’s technology-driven world. Our fully equipped computer laboratory provides learners with practical, hands-on ICT training starting from Primary One. Under the guidance of our qualified teachers, learners develop essential computer skills through engaging, practical lessons that introduce them to both computer hardware and software. They learn about computer components, how to operate and maintain computers, typing, word processing, educational applications, and other essential digital skills appropriate to their level. Our ICT programme is designed to build confidence, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technological competence from an early age. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, we prepare our learners to use technology responsibly and effectively in their academic work and everyday lives. Beyond our school community, Springfield also offers computer training lessons for adults who wish to acquire or improve their ICT skills. Whether you are a beginner seeking basic computer knowledge or a community member looking to enhance your digital skills for work, business, or personal development, our training provides an opportunity to learn in a supportive environment. At Springfield Schools, we are committed to bridging the digital skills gap by empowering both young learners and adults with the computer knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
